We spent this last weekend camping at Yosemite again. All the campgrounds inside the park were full so we stayed just outside the park in Inyo National Forest. It turned out to be a great experience as we got to spend more time around Tuolumne Meadows and Tenaya Lake.
We had a great hike, seventeen miles to the top of El Capitan, but the highlight in photography terms was sunrise by Tioga Lake. Watching the morning sun hit Mammoth Peak, nestled between Mount Dana and Gaylor Peak, and reflecting on the glass-like lake was amazing. I even got to say good morning to a coyote.
