This weekend I had an hour to kill in Pescadero so I headed to the beach to take some photos. The weather was very uninspiring and there was no real focal point in the landscape to get me excited, but I tried to work with those constraints.
Typically I don’t have people in my landscape shots but the people fishing were a nice addition to work with. I used long exposures to accentuate the atmosphere, and combined this with a second exposure to keep the people sharp. I liked the effect so I plan to experiment further.
